This is the

Worst app Ive used in a long time. Sad that I spent as much as I did on the truck and have to deal with this crap.

Too Costly to Use

This app uses more data than any other GPS app Ive used its a GPS app for G-D sakes just use GPS and download Maps at home

Works well enough

Thanks for updating for iOS 11.

Not working with iOS 11

Closes the app rather than going to the black screen with scout logo.

Not iOS 11 compatible

Please update to work with iOS 11.

Does not work with IOS 11

Brand new 2018 Camry - Navigation is WORTHLESS- this app crashes when run on iOS 11. Can’t use connected Nav in car that I paid a fortune for. Very poor.

Map view needed

I use this with my Toyota and it really would help if I could see the map on the screen of the car I can only see it on the app on my phone and that is a bit small and dangerous when driving

Useless

Pointless app and head scratcher why Toyota would use this app on my 2017 Rav. Ill stick to my Maps App on my iPhone.

Worst GPS ever

It doesnt know where anything is. I tested it when I got my car and put my address in it. I was sitting in my driveway and it was saying I was still a half mile away! Same results with other addresses I tried. I was excited to finally have GPS in my car, but my excitement was quickly taken away. I guess its back to Google on my phone.

Terrible

I cant even type the location in on my screen in the car because the delay is so long. I have to type the location in on my phone before I even get near my car. It does not update restaurants near my actual location. Extremely frustrating. Useless app. Rather use Google maps!!! I am a realtor and sometimes I have to rely on GPS to get me to places. Please update and fix or find another app.

Scout GPS

I bought a new Toyota RAV4 which has this for its GPS and its terrible. It has my home at the wrong address, it cant find a lot of places and will tell you to go left, when you go right as you need to, it acts like that is what it wanted you to do. Im so disappointed in it. I love my new Toyota but hate the Scout gps it uses.

Surprisingly--It Works Great!!

This may sound strange, but if you take the time to learn it, its a great GPS program! I had VERY low expectations for this app after reading all the negative reviews. We have a disc jockey service and travel to areas we arent necessarily familiar with so having a good GPS app is a must. I figured wed use this as a supplement to two other GPS programs on my phone. So far, it works well, shows a map with an arrow that updates as you drive, gives great turn-by-turn voice cues and two or three route options every time. There are a few quirks and I was initially frustrated but figured out how to make it work. The "keyboard" doesnt come up on the car display as it should so there is no way to type in a search address. It seems to show contacts instead of an address screen. However, you can easily use the voice recognition to enter that information. Just go into the Scout program on the car, touch the speech button on the steering wheel and tell it the address when prompted. It may ask if you would like a driving or walking route. Touch the driving option and it will show several routes with distances and arrival times and ask for the number of the route you would like. This is a great feature because some GPS programs dont give you the option of choosing the best route. Once you choose the route you would like, it will bring up a map and give voice assistance for the rest of your trip. It announces each turn well ahead of time with distances, gives estimated arrival time and lets you know when youve reached your destination. Scout seems to have everything other GPS programs have and a few extra nice features so Im happy! Well see how it does with a few more long distance trips but certainly right now, Id give it a four or five. Possibly others who didnt get a moving map and turn by turn prompts hadnt made all the route choices to actually start the program. Its not perfect by any means but I like it!

No maps of streets!

All you have is directions only on Toyota entunes app ! Not useful at all. Your maps and navigation need to be like waze or google maps. I wants to see real time streets and traffic while giving me directions!

Why Toyota

So I just purchased my new Camry Friday and I was so excited. My old one had navigation an would update when I attached my phone. Loved it. So when the seller told me that my new car didnt have it and they arent making many of with nav in the new models my instincts told me to be Leary and boy was I right. I hate this Scout app. I wish Toyota wouldve used google. I go back tomorrow I maybe switching for a different car bc I use my navigation all the time for work. Cars would be awesome if they hadnt done that

worst app connected to my 2017 Toyota Camry, tells you to make turns that are non existent. Makes my phone hot from battery usage. I would have never bought this camry if I had known this was my only option.

Garbage

Even a Toyota dealer couldnt get POS to work

Tells me to make a left turn on a limited access road where no turn exists? Really? WTF?

Useless

Lexus, GET CARPLAY! This app is ridiculous!

Pure garbage....

Absolutely unusable... completely inaccurate even in larger citys. Im a long time Toyota fan but, I have no clue what they were thinking with this app.
