????? please upgrade this disappointing app, how can a luxury suv have this app ? How cheap it becomes ?

I find the app accurate and usefull. I recently updated to the IOS 11 before the update my custom navigation icons all worked regardless of what I had selected. Now that its been updated the only time they show up is in route guidance. Before the update the icon was on the map full time. Do you have an update coming to make this feature work again as it did before?

Just useless.

This App is the worst! I works well one day then the next day it tells me that it cant connect and to try again later. My phone has the app running and it says that the connection isnt working, yet my phone blue tooth tells me that its connected. The screen on the car says that there is a blue tooth connection yet it says the connection can not be made and to try again later. To think that I payed money for this piece if junk is aggravating!

This app does not work, not even worth one star. Not user friendly at all, the address does not load and the images are very badly designed. As a owner of a 2018 Camry I can not even start to explain how unhappy I am that Toyota chose this app to represent their company

Purchased a 2018 Camry and this is the navigation they choose to integrate into their cars. I rely heavily on nav for my job and so far I am anything but impressed. Hoping Toyota makes a change or this company gets with it. The turn by turn is way off. If you are in the city it’s a crap shoot getting where you need to go.

Lexus should have gone with Apple CarPlay

When I recently bought my 2017 RAV 4, the dealer convinced me not to get an upgraded navigation. ..... biggest mistake I made. Just two months I owned the car, I used this navigation app 3 times and will never use it again.... it took me to remote back roads which was so way off from the location I was supposed to go to. I decided to give it another try last night and totally gave it up because the areas it took me was so scary and remote. It was at 9:00pm and the navigation said that Ive reached my destination........but no church.....no rectory..... just an open field with nothing in the surroundings. Decided to use Google map on my phone to lead me home... This is where Toyota will get its downfall. Consumers shouldnt be fooled about this navigation. I hope that theres going to be a lawsuit against Toyota so we can get reimbursed for the disappointments we all have after buying the car from them with this awful, waste-of-money, piece of junk App they claimed to be very good and accurate. Telenav Customer Service are very unreliable. They emailed me back regarding my complaints but when I sent them the information they were asking me, they blocked me..... how on earth will they resolve the issues I have with this piece of junk if they don’t respond to the customers .

The writer of this app--- the employee at toyota who pitched and accepted this horrible app and system should be fired ! The app does not work ! Not even once.. -app will not accept addresses... put in an address, shows direction on your phone and then screen freezes on entune and app shows connected and then goes back to home screen and you have to put in address again... and then entune plus freezes again... terrible concept !! What happens if you actually can get app to work and then you lose data signal ?? Bye bye directions ! Worthless !

scout gps???? This is the worst application for a partial GPS system that works sometimes and that’s you down at the very worst possible moment would never recommend it for anybody on the planet

This is the worst gps. The graphics and operation system is terrible. Poor excuse for an in car system.

If we could rate this less than one star we would. We own a 2018 Camry XSE with the scout system as part of the car. It is the worst application we have ever had to deal with. I can’t believe that Toyota with its reputation for quality would use this in place of the old fashion GPS system. What a travesty this app is and I would advise anyone purchasing a Toyota with this application being used for a GPS system to avoid it. Even the dealership personnel are not proficient in using this app and I believe know of its deficiencies.

One of the worst app ever! Doesn’t sync correctly with 2018 Toyota Camry. Poor decision by Toyota to integrate this instead of Apple CarPlay or Android Play. The app doesn’t prompt user to download a separate Scout Maps application, in order to completely see maps on your car display. Maps does not give you an option to pin a location, as the maps cannot locate my current address! There is a lot of room for improvement.

Hate it. Not reliable. May as well not have navigation.

App gives terrible routes/directions. From home to the Airport is about 15-20 minutes...bought a new car and used the Navigation to test it out. Gave me a route that showed 1 hour and 51 minutes going through terrible routes. Ill just keep using Waze.

I’ve never reviewed anything I’ve downloaded from the App Store before but had to add my voice to those who are warning about this terrible excuse for a GPS system. It has repeatedly let me down when I’ve needed it the most. Most of the time it refuses to connect, telling me to “Try Again Later”. That is simply unacceptable when I need to go somewhere NOW. The maps are not accurate. Today it tried to direct me to go the wrong way down a one way street and when I did not it rerouted me right through the busy city traffic and took me way off the beaten path. I lost a lot of time getting back on track. Later it froze completely. I had to pull over and restart it. Had the usual difficulty in getting it to connect. Then it told me that I’d arrived at my destination when I was still a good 20 minutes away. I ended up missing an important event because of this. It was nearly over by the time I got there. I used this program because it came with my Toyota RAV4. From now on I will stick with Google Maps even though it doesn’t show on my car’s display. I will never use Scout GPS again under any circumstances. I wish I could rate it lower than just one star.

Don’t think for a moment this app is a real GPS service. Drops trip randomly in progress, may not find current location. No street names, very lame. Surprised Toyota promotes this as a option.

Horrible mapping / gps system Too many unnamed streets, CANT HEAR DIRECTIONS if you are listening to music with your Entune System - Google Maps will silence your music when it gives directions - scout does NOT. Developers, please study Google Maps and Apple Maps and LEARN how great GPS systems work, I will be happy to update my review when this mapping program updates, until then, going back to Apple and Google for reliable and useful GPS... Love everything about my new Toyota except for Scout : (
