It will not take the interstate to get to destination. Get 3 routes going out of the way.. a lot of back roads.. this need a lot of work.useless app had to use another app. Just discovered after using a different app that you have to turn off (button is not green )highway, tolls, etc in order to include them.. makes no sense.

Why can’t this app be fixed so that it will work? Seems ridiculous. You do realize the link to support is no good also. Go figure. Just saying!

We just got a 2016 Camry with this feature. I cant get it to work with my iPhone 5c and we actually got it to work with my husbands 6s. It started us at the wrong destination and then when we got it to show our position it never changed the distance to our turn. We deleted this app and got the other scout app. That one doesnt connect with the car with the maps on the screen but the voice comes through.

Worst. “Could not complete request try again later.” Probably won’t ever again.

Entune came on my Tundra and works like it should. I can depress "CarPlay " , speak my destination and away I go. Dont need to touch the screen AND take my eyes off the road ! Im really impressed as to how well and accurate this system is. Five months later, looses map, goes to turn by turn directions then goes to home screen. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling my iPhone 6s Plus without success. My Google maps on my phone work. This Panasonic system is pretty cheap . I didnt even purchase this brand when I was in college It’s been a year that I’ve had my tundra. Have taken the truck in for routine service and the people there can’t get this useless gps to work. Don’t like ford but, their indash system works.

The first time I tried to use Scout it directed me to drive East, through my own backyard and OVER Seaford creek, ( no bridge ) even though I was headed North. This is not a small body of water so one would think it would show up in the program. . I will not use this app until I start reading some positive reviews. Sad that Toyota settled for this app. How is it possible that my 2004 Lexus navigation is much better than 2018 Scout, WHAT HAPPENED ? Navigation is so important to me that I would NEVER have bought a Toyota product using this garbage. 2018 Camry XSE will be going back when lease is up.

Tried it a few times in my neighborhood and works fine.

Like having a BRAND NEW CAR 2018 AVALON and HAVING to rely on my phone screen...because this SCOUTGPS is at besT cumbersome...at best WORTHLESS!!

This app took me a while to figure out how to get the map on the screen. This app doesn’t show the street names on the map. It don’t tell you when your approaching a red light camera or when police is nearby. I think I will go back using Waze GPS it tell all those things and it even tell you when your on the expressway to watch out for abandon cars on the side of the road.

Seriously don’t bother to download this app. I still haven’t yet to use it successfully. I tried using it today after having it a month and their was no voice directions and it never stayed on. It disconnected after about 3 minutes. Get this fixed or I will tell everyone I know how awful it is ???( if I ever get it to work)

The app was sporadic when I had my iPhone 6+ but now will not connect with my IPhone 8+. Such a waste that we can’t use google maps on the screen or something else when Scout will not work at all. Upgrade the app and maps or get out!!

I am very upset that this doesn’t work ALMOST all the time. We will be driving long distances and praying that it works, when I need to!! I’m trying to figure a backup, even though I shouldn’t at all, AND the 800# is not available 24/7!!

Can’t believe Lexus IS selling this CRAP. Unbelievable. Ranks in the top 5 worst mistakes I’ve ever made.

I bought 2017 RAV4 hybrid that came with inbuilt scout gps, the worse app ever to link with your phone, it was a struggle and headache to connect it for the first one week and afterwards, it doesn’t connect at all. I went back to Toyota service but, they couldn’t fix it, I called Toyota customer service that later connected me scout gps, they told me to do all kinds stuff which was in vein. I miss my 2016 Toyota RAV4 hybrid, there was nothing fight with in the car. I’m so mad that I feel like just using uber so I don’t see that stupid app on the navigation system. Something needs to be done before lawsuits is file against Toyota company. My rating is below 1 star

The worst of the worst. Will never sync with my new Toyota. I am surprised Toyota would be associated with this app.

I am severely disappointed in this “navigation” app. I really expected better from Toyota. The directions and locations are unreliable. I do not plan to use it as my primary source of navigation. Scout is the worst app I have ever used.

Not only is the navigation crap, 95% it will not connect to the Entune screen in my 2016 RAV4 or if it connects it will freeze. I used it several times now and it never worked correctly. This is a clear safety issue, somebody should sue the company. If you have to fiddle with the software while driving you get distracted very easily. I am very disappointed that Toyota would deal with such an inadequate company!
