This app is literally the worst program I have ever used for GPS. If I didn’t love Toyota so much, I would trade in my vehicle just to get rid of this useless system. The developers of this app should be embarrassed of what they created and Toyota should be ashamed of themselves for selling such poor quality to their consumers! Taking my vehicle in to get CarPlay! I never want to see this system again!!!!

Very very useless map to small and takes forever to get search field to clear lots of link problems great idea but poorly excerised

I downloaded scout GPS for my new Toyota Corolla, the worse APP I ever used

This is easily one of the worst applications I have ever encountered in 2 decades of computing. The application loses the phone link and/or cannot connect to the phone even though the application is running and Bluetooth enabled. This application does not meet in any way what a navigation should be. A navigation application is essential and should work flawlessly. Shame on Toyota for giving us the misery of this application.

What’s it going to take for Toyota to fully embrace Apple’s CarPlay or Android Auto. Those work 1000% better than this sorry excuse of an app, it never connects to my to my head unit and the .001% of the time when the app works the turn by turn is never accurate. Toyota ditch this app and incorporate CarPlay or Android Auto!!

Horrible Never works !! Since I got the car, not even once I was able to use it. Total waste

This app is a total failure in so many levels, as evidenced in the overwhelming number of 1 star reviews. Let me start by saying that the “gps” feature was a main selling point in my decision to buy a RAV4. But this app does not deliver. It says that it gives traffic updates, but it doesn’t. It doesn’t sync up to the car automatically, you have to open up the app every time you get in the car. And I stopped counting the number of times the app froze and could not find my location. I’ve given up on it and now use google maps. It has its deficiencies, too, but they’re minor compared to this app. I hope that someday Scout gets their act together and comes up with a decent app.

Doesn’t show a navigation map, only turn by turn. Not even close to my expectations, and the previews pictures is bulls___

Very inconsistent and difficult to log in.

Worked first time now will not work on my car. Works fine on my phone but can’t hear anything through car

Why doesn’t the designers of this app listen to what people are complaining about. I’d like to access my contacts and get directions for that contact.

What good is a system that cannot sync even in town. Apple CarPlay would surely be better but Toyota has their head in the sand. Hard to believe their product management people don’t get it. Every major car manufacturer is already there. I am deleting the app.

The app is difficult to use and it shouldn’t be. The layout is poor, you can’t find things and the route selection is dated

Toyota should offer a refund to anyone that has this. Really hard to use and stay logged in to. Makes me want to go back to a trusty old tom tom.

All it gives you is an arrow to turn. Almost every GPS I’ve used shows a live map as you are moving. This is especially helpful when your driving somewhere you aren’t familiar with.

Hardly ever works. When it works it’s good but it only works 5% of the time. Lexus dealer said it was great. They either lied or the app just got bad over last 9 months. Waste. They need to fix it or get rid of it. Get the navigation system if you might need it because this app will leave you stranded 100% of the time.

So far I absolutely hate this app. Maps are outdated. I have to pull up google maps on my car home and use it. This app is useless. How about updating the maps and make it where it will run maps I. The background? Those 2 things woulda kept such an improvement on this app.

Waste of time. Instead of Toyota spending a few dollars extra for a GPS chip, gives you hope that your phone may work with their radio. Have two different version on two Toyota’s both just waste my time for nothing. Another billion dollar lawsuit should be started for cheating public with this junk. Shame on the executive team of Toyota.

Brand spanking new 2018 Lexus and I couldn’t be more unhappy with this app and the rest of their suite of apps. When it decides to connect to the car after multiple attempts I’m lucky if it stays connected for the entire time I need it. And on top of that it’s gotta be connected by wire to the USB port just to get a live map. While using this app I wound up missing a few times due to its random utterances of “make a right turn in 472 feet”. Sorry Scout, I didn’t take my ruler with me. Lexus/Toyota really need to get their acts together and get with the rest of the world and allow Apple CarPlay or similar infotainment applications to work.
