No full map still after 5 months

Your latest update today did not fix the ios issue I still cannot use the full map function. Please fix I have had my car for 5 months and no full map

Scout

I would not have bought my new 2018 Camry if I had known this navigation system does not work! I have to have navigation because I do a lot of conference calls. I bought my car on March 26 2018 and nobody can get this to work and if there’s a class action lawsuit I am in, because now I don’t want my car and they’re still trying to figure it out!

Pitiful excuse for GPS

Received Scout with the purchase of a new 2018 Toyota Camry. This is the worst quality GPS I have ever used. Very disappointed in Toyota for their system choice.

Finally it works!

After months of updates from Scout, Apple & Lexus Enform I finally have a working GPS with maps. Updated to the new iOS 11.3 last night and Scout (cabled) did not crash on my way to work. Bad reviews were warranted in the past. When you have 3 vendors trying to get an app to work there are going to be problems. Hopefully it will remain stable and Scout can focus on improving the app. 2018 Lexus NX

Scout on 2018 Camry not fully functional

After owning our 2018 Camry for 3 months, we still do NOT have a fully functioning navigational system. One aspect of our prior 2012 Camry we especially liked was the integrated navigational system. I was hoping and expecting to have the same, if not better, experience in the 2018 Camry (particularly given the abundance of other technological advances in the car), but was advised the 2018 4-cylinder models did not offer the integrated nav system, but instead relies on communication between the car and the Entune 3.0 and Scout GPS mobile apps. (I was further advised Entune 3.0 Premium has the integrated nav system, but is only available on 6 cylinder models. That does not make sense to me, but assume that is explainable by Toyota.) I have been advised there is a compatibility issue between the Scout mobile app and the Apple iOS which, I understand, is currently being addressed, but a solution has yet to be made available to consumers. Ive also been advised, once this is fixed, in order to have and display full motion maps on the cars display, my iPhone must be connected to the cars USB port. So, from my perspective, these are all significant steps backward. We went from a seamless, standalone, nicely functioning integrated nav system in our 2012 Camry to one (assuming it will eventually work) that is not integrated, requires separate mobile devices (what if I did not own a smartphone?), further requires the mobile apps to always be open and requires a (USB) cable connection in the car in order to have motion maps. This certainly does not feel like progress nor an enrichment of the customer experience.

Crap

I have this in my Toyota Tundra and it is ?.

This app is useless

This came with my Tundra. Worked for a short time but won’t connect any more. Don’t waste your time downloading.

Never works

This app worked with my Tacoma for the first 3 days I owned it, ever since then it has always said “not work try again later. Error code 200.1.0”

Terrible app

I just bought a new Camry. Love the car but hate the app. I am using my gps that I have had for two years. The scout gps link is not free! I hate confusion and ripoff. Cindy

POS

Rarely works. Uses all my data. Not user-friendly.

Toyota needs to Scout for new developer

You’d think Toyota would have a nice budget to provide technology with this Entune or whatever it is. I picked up an ‘18 Camry XSE 6 and the car is almost perfect. But this Entune suite or whatever it’s called has the lamest layout and apps. Who uses any of those except maybe Yelp and Pandora? Now as for Scout I have to say my Impala with Apple CarPlay blows much of the competition out of the water. That system allows me to access my Google or Maps while using pretty much any other thing I want on my phone. Scout also is very delayed on using my mobile data. I’ve missed a couple turns from it. Come on Toyota at least let us access our iPhone apps while driving. I’m sure many customers have decided against buying your vehicles solely from this subpar entertainment feature. Hurry up and make a deal with Apple and Android.

Totally Frustrated

I just leased a 2018 Rav4 XLE. This is the only thing I am completely disappointed with. It never connects, the routes are archaic, the street names are incorrect. I am really shocked Toyota, which was amazing throughout the leasing process, would partner up with this. They need to update this program immediately.

The worst!!!!

New update to fix many on going problems, now it doesn’t work at all! I’m going to rip this scout gps dependent stereo out and spend $500 plus just so I don’t have to ever see this sorry excuse for an app ever again!

Very unreliable connection

Most of the time, my car says waiting to connect to Entune. I have a 2018 Camry xse. Love the car, but hate the gps in this car.

Doesn’t connect

App works on phone, wont connect to vehicle.

Sorry I got it

Terrible app wish I had gone for the basic radio and upgraded aftermarket

App talking to my Toyota Rav-4

Bought a brand new Toyota Rav-4,last year. This app is my only onscreen map for guidance in my car. It never works! The app just like to talk to the car. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t.

Class action law suit in the making.

Entune came on my Tundra and works like it should. I can depress "CarPlay " , speak my destination and away I go. Dont need to touch the screen AND take my eyes off the road ! Im really impressed as to how well and accurate this system is. Five months later, looses map, goes to turn by turn directions then goes to home screen. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling my iPhone 6s Plus without success. My Google maps on my phone work. This Panasonic system is pretty cheap . I didnt even purchase this brand when I was in college It’s been a year that I’ve had my tundra. Have taken the truck in for routine service and the people there can’t get this useless gps to work. Don’t like ford but, their indash system works. It’s been a year and a half that I’ve owned the Tundra and, while the mechanical system is solid, this “gps” is totally useless TOTALLY USELESS. After countless updates and service visits. The in dash system will not even activate. I have spoken to service specialists, managers .... nothing. They did cash my check when I purchased the truck though.

Toyota Navigation

It’s horrible while using in Toyota! It doesn’t show the map without usb cable connection! And the horrible thing is you have to keep your phone unlocked all the time! The most horrible thing is the app crushes and black out after 10 minute of using!!!!! Imagine you’re driving and you need to know which exit to take and all of a sudden you’re navigation is gone! I’m so disappointed with Toyota! I wish they could have gave more GPS apps option rather than this application!

Useless

The app lags and gives me my directions about 5 second after I am supposed to turn or take an exit. It’s silly to have to plug my phone in just to get the map on the screen.
