Aside from the moving maps not available; it’s always saying a download error now on my 2018 NX. The turn by turn navigation also freezes when it works. Hopefully it gets fixed otherwise this app is totally crap.

All I want is a simple map that shows me where I am as I drive. Salesperson told me it was easy before I bought the car but she couldnt even help me set it up after I spent my money. Piece of junk. Why be so frugal with what should be standard features? Suppose I forget my phone?

I can’t connect this to my lexis and no one can help. It’s disgraceful how much this car costs.

Each time I try to use in 3D moving maps. Won’t load on car display of my brand new 2018 camry. I have iOS 11.2.5. Fix it!

I finally thought I up my game and purchased a new 2018 Camry XLE with leather heated seats, panoramic moon roof, etc., but never thought I would purchase new in this day and age and not have the option of an integrated navigation system. Whatever the Scout link is supposed to do, it never does it. I can't even rate it one star. Got it to work twice for a few minutes before losing it. Just crap. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT NOT HAVING A NAVIGATION SYSTEM.

Absolute crap

Telenav has opted to hide connection problem by taking down the connection problem statement from their web site. It still does not work!!! Massive long lasting problem . Will it ever be fixed. This owner doubts that it will ever be repaired!

Dont waste your time with this it only brings frustration

Not only is it barely helpful with only turn by turn directions and no visual map but it often fails to load. Toyota should get rid of this STAT and give a rebate so drivers can buy real GPS

I have rental (thankfully) of a 2018 Avalon xle. This is the only way to get navigation on screen, and it is all around awful - just take a look at the other reviews. It’s extremely basic, I don’t see a way to get full screen, it’s not moving, and pretty much from what I’ve seen only gives you an overview map (that doesn’t update) and a list of the next 4 turns. Seriously, this feels like a high school kids project. This is the wise navigation app I’ve ever seen.

This developer should be ashamed of themselves. I would be willing to pay for a good app if it was available.

Rented a brand new RAV4 to drive to Toronto. Hooked this up/thought it might be better to use the incar screen than Waze. Doesn’t seem to have any addresses outside the USA. Back to waze!

This app does not work as well as the map apps that come standard on most smartphones. This app does not show a map as you drive and sometimes does not work at all. Ive tried both iOS and Android.

Never works only with Bluetooth some times and never with usb cable.I don’t know why toyota make cars head units for work with this app if developers can’t make work

I have never been able to use this app. I to have a Toyota, unless I change my data plan to allow for hot spot, I have to have this app open at all times in order for it to show a map, and then sometimes it doesn’t even show. Horrible GPS!

What was Toyota thinking choosing this as their GPS solution for their customers? This app is seriously buggy. Most of the time, it never shows up on the display in my car like it is supposed to, even when I have the app open on my phone screen and connected to Bluetooth. And even when it does show up occasionally, it will just drop the connection for no reason in the middle of a trip, even though all of the other apps and services continue to connect and communicate just fine. So the problem is clearly with this GPS app. For the love of God Toyota, please give your customers CarPlay or android auto integration so that we can choose a GPS app that actually works.

So I install and it tells me the current version of IOS (11.2) is not supported. What the heck?!? Wish I new it was such crap before buying.

I got the 2018 Camry SE and was excited with Entune 3.0 allowing me to have scout GPS on it. Not needing the highest trim was awesome. Then come to find of your an Apple user you’re not going to be able to use it. If you have Android you’re lucky. If they update this app to work with the new iOS I’ll change the rating. But this is unacceptable.

Since last Fall it was a “love-hate with my Lexus. Es 350 2017. Recent updates to the app have resulted in very satisfactory experience with this product. It deserved its early low scoring, but that will change. Not a Garman but don’t compare it to one! It is free and gives function to a rather worthless screen in my Lexus. I suspect in time more functionality will be added a constant running map would be nice!

I can drive to my destination in the time it took to make the app work. Doesn’t connect automatically, I’m giving one start because there is no option to give zero stars.
