Worst GPS app ever

What was Toyota thinking choosing this as their GPS solution for their customers?

This app is horrendous. Most of the time, it never shows up on the display in my car like it is supposed to, even when I have the app open on my phone screen and connected to Bluetooth.

And even when it does show up occasionally, it will just drop the connection for no reason in the middle of a trip, even though all of the other apps and services continue to connect and communicate just fine. So the problem is clearly with this GPS app.

And even if everything works for a few minutes, no map shows up during navigation! All the screen shows is a list of upcoming turns. Are you kidding me? A navigation app that doesnt show a map during navigation? Did anyone test this?

For the love of God Toyota, please give your customers CarPlay or android auto integration so that we can choose which GPS app we want to use. (you know, one that has a map and actually works)
