Awful

Just bought a new 2018 Camry. Love everything else about my car, but I hate this navigation system. Too bad its the only navigation available from Toyota. When I was car shopping I looked at some chevys. They had similar features, but you could use lots of different navigation apps (google, ways, apple) whatever you wanted.
About the app:
This app is the opposite of user-friendly. The app doesnt work well with the car. If I type an address into the app on my phone, it wont transfer to the app in my car. I have to re-type the address into my car. Every time I need to use it, I have to wait a good 7 minutes for it to load so I can type in an address. Forget about using the Bluetooth to help navigate, it wont find any points of interest unless I have the actual address, and even then it cant find it sometimes. The directions it gives are usually wrong or take you in a longer way. I cant for the life of me get it to save my home, work, or favorites. I will type them in, it will say saved, next time I open it, nothing there. It also doesnt predict what Im typing based on recent searches. As I just said it wont save my home address, so every time I need to go home from somewhere new, I have to put the entire address in. It also wont show me a map in the car unless I have it plugged into the USB and have the app running. This app is so awful and frustrating that most of the time I try to use it, I end up giving up and using google maps on my phone.
