Scout GPS Link IPhone “Connectivity Issue”

Have new Toyota XSE V6. Scout won’t connect. Contacted Toyota USA Customer Service. They informed me this is a problem for all IPhones. They have no idea if or when it will be solved! They refused to pay for a Garmin which we bought so we could use our new car! We wrote to their Group VP for Customer Service. Awaiting answer.
