Complete waste of time and money

I’m over 60 years old and after many years decided to get a new vehicle. I bought a new Rav just after Christmas. I was told this gps would work fine. I don’t write reviews, but after a week of voice training and reinstalling this app, it does not work.
Once or twice it worked. It will not save your favorite places or even your home location. It loses its memory somehow.
Doesn’t show live maps, even after plugging in my iPhone. I just can’t understand why such a large dealership would make such a huge mistake. It’s possible it’s software or firmware that could fix this, but don’t pay extra for this option.Like the other reviews it is the worst system I have ever used. I have an appointment with Toyota next week. If I would have known about this, I would have purchased a different make of vehicle.
It makes me wonder, after paying over $30,000.00, if Toyota is trying to cheapen things up, maybe there’s other problems that will show up after some time!!!
