Latest App Update/iPhone 8 renders Scout useless

Issue with iPhone 8/Bluetooth 5.0 and/or “2018 Toyota and Lexus app update” might have been resolved... I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it allowing “always” access to location... guess the app needs this setting to work without physically opening the app on your phone. I’ll see how it operates tomorrow.
Moving map update on the 2018s needs to be made available to the 2016/17 models with a software update.
